WQED Multimedia in Pittsburgh is seeking a Director of Broadcast Engineering to serve as FCC-designated Chief Operator and lead television and radio broadcast engineering operations for one VHF television station with five digital channels and two radio stations with multiple audio streams. This supervisory management role oversees represented Technicians and leads reliability, compliance, documentation, vendor coordination, EAS, transmitter/tower operations, and production air-chain readiness.
